OVERALL IDEA OF MUSIC VIDEO(LOGLINE AND SYNOPSIS)

 

For my A2 media project, I created a mood board for a music video concept titled Yadon Ka Safar, inspired by the song Sajini by Jal. The emotional tone of the song instantly stood out to me, and I wanted to capture the bittersweet feeling of remembering old friendships, especially when life is about to take you somewhere new.

The story follows Maham, a young woman sitting alone at a quiet rural train station. As she holds an old photograph of her childhood friends, she slips into vivid memories of her village life, cycling through dusty lanes, laughing on rooftops, playing under trees, splashing water, and sharing mangoes on charpais. These scenes represent the innocence and joy of youth. But one by one, her friends disappear from the memories, and the warmth of the past slowly fades. In the present, just as Maham is about to leave alone, a man appears, and they board the train together, leaving behind an empty bench and a photograph, as echoes of laughter fade into silence.

his concept felt very close to my heart because it made me think about how much our childhood friendships shape us. Even when we grow apart or move on in life, those memories stay with us, and sometimes, they even guide us. Through Yadon Ka Safar, I wanted to show that while we may leave places or people behind, the emotional connections we form never truly disappear.
